Hello everyone!
I'm completely new to this field of work but I have always wanted to do voice-overs but (quite embarassingly to admit) I've never done anything like this before and I don't even know where to start! I'm currently in my first year at university studying Entertainment Technology and I have a great compassion for cartoons (even at my age which most people would consider to be pretty sad) and I've always wanted to get involved in them. My ultimate goal would be to star in an animated movie but what sort of creditentials do you need before you can even get your career off the ground? Is a seemingly childish dream to star in cartoons enough to want to start or am I going about it entirely the wrong way?!
I just wanted some preliminary advice to find out if I'm really suited for a job in voice-overs or whether I should give up now!
