Artists whose fees are above the minimum may be offered a reduced fee for half a day's work, providing the fee offered is not less than the new minimum of £177

The BBC operates a 'knock on' system of fees.
Hours of Work
Full Day: A continuous period of 9 hours during which not less than 2 hours meal and/or rest breaks shall be given.
Overtime: £6.60 for each 15 minutes.
Additional Days
Network Radio (PART 1A)
Fee:
Domestic £106 fixed rate per additional day
World Service £106 fixed rate per additional day
Local, Vernacular (World Service), Open University (PART 1B)
Fee:
Domestic £75 fixed rate per additional day
World Service £75 fixed rate per additional day
Hours of Work
A continuous period of not more than 8 hours including not more than 6 hours work. Not less than one break of not less than 1 hour shall normally be given.
Overtime: £6.60 for each 15 minutes
Read Through Half Day
Fee:
Domestic and World Service: £65 fixed rate per half day.
Multi-Episodic Use
Artists will receive a fee per episode depending on the length of each episode.
Repeats
(PART 1A)
Network Radio:
Upon third or subsequent broadcast in Network Radio, within 3 years of the first broadcast - 33% of the amount paid for rehearsal (including read through) and performance.
World Service:
Upon third or subsequent cycles of broadcasts, within 3 years of the first broadcast
For a period of 8 days from the date of the first recorded repeat in the World Service, only provided that there is more than one repeat, on fee equal to 23% of the original fee for rehearsal and performance covers all repeats in the World Service.
Repeats broadcast 3 or more years after the first broadcast
The repeat fee shall be the appropriate percentage of the artist's original fee.
(PART 1B)
Domestic Services:
Within 3 years of first broadcast - 50% of the amount paid for rehearsal and performance.
World Service:
Repeats given within 3 years of the first broadcast:
For a period of 8 days from the date of the first recorded repeat in the World Service, only provided that there is more than one repeat, one fee equal to 35% of the original fee for rehearsal and performance covers all repeats in the World Service.

Overseas Payments
(PART 1A)
Full Radio International Rights
125% of the artists performance fee and additional day payments. Alternatively a royalty of 17% of the gross income accruing to BBC Worldwide shared pro-rata among the artists.
(PART 1B)
80% of the artists performance fee and additional pay payments. Alternatively a royalty of 17% of the gross income accruing to BBC Worldwide shared pro-rata among the artists.
